The Soldier, the Witch and sensible David......
I am happy to say that it has been a busy few months in the land of Sandal Sticks Theatre !
I have done some lovely storytelling sessions in a north London nursery, and with Trim Tots CIC and Nysa Projects, who run obesity prevention programmes in primary schools using art, movement , rhyme and storytelling.
A few weeks ago I was back at the Jewish Museum London to tell stories at the Access for All - Family Day.
The museum regularly hosts lovely events for families, with arts and crafts activities in foyer, tours of the museum, music and dance classes as well as storytelling performances.
I told the story of David from Chelm, who does nothing but complain and an adaptation of the H C Andersen classic, The Tinderbox.
Adding on , I have performed at a few children's birthday parties in beautiful and interesting venues like the Horniman Museum and Gardens and the Postal Museum in Clerkenwell.
(A relatively new museum and well worth a visit ! )
Thank you for reading and until next time - Happy Easter and Happy Spring !!!
